In this political climate, if you are a business person who relies in any part on good will with the public to sell products, it's best to keep quiet or at the very least not be so partisan towards one side or the other.  The partisanship in this country has escalated.

He should have stayed out of politics, especially siding with Trump, with how divided our country is.  Also the biggest proponents of EVs are not maga types.  I could have told him it would be a huge mistake to tie his reputation to Trump's.  I could see it from a mile away.

Electricity just went off about a second but long enough have to restart computer
Then it wouldn't come on but I did it again.
TV came back on while I was doing it and computer seems to be working
Wonder what caused that.
