Yes, saw several recipes I want to try

Find a lasagna one. You won't be disappointed.

Cheesy scrambled eggs, sausage and hot cocoa rolls for supper. And no, the rolls aren't made from scratch. Lol

I’ve never heard of hot cocoa rolls but I bet they’re good. Have you heard of chocolate gravy? I have a friend from TN and apparently they had chocolate gravy and biscuits for breakfast quite often.

I had leftover roast, asparagus, and tomatoes for dinner. It wasn’t anything worth bragging about but I managed to choke it down.

These were a Pillsbury brand with a marshmallow.frosting and if I do say so myself, pretty damn good. Yes, I have heard of chocolate gravy and had it. It is fantastic over sweet biscuits and I love grits with tomato gravy, another Southern dish.

Well now, I don’t eat grits I don’t care what you do to them. I’ve never eaten them and for some reason I just can’t bring myself to try them. But yes, I’ve heard of grits with tomato gravy but I’ve never had it either. I’m gonna look up tomato gravy to see how it’s made. I love tomatoes.

Cold cut Blue plate special...

A leaf of lettuce in the middle of a plate, a glob of cottage cheese on it topped with some fruit cocktail in heavy syrup from a can.

And some miscellaneous cold cuts rolled up and placed around the plate.

Cheap, easy and delicious

That sounds good except that glob of cottage cheese. I had to laugh when I read this because the other day I bought some cottage cheese for the first time in years. For lunch I got it out and put a glob on a plate with some tomatoes. I took my first bite and OH MY GOD, I remembered why I hadn’t bought any in years. I do not like cottage cheese. I tried and tried to choke it down but it was awful! I know people love that stuff but Lord have mercy, that was torture for me!

Well, I had salmon, great northern beans, and tomatoes for dinner last night. Tonight will be chicken in some form cause that’s what I thawed out.

Yummy, that sounds delicious! I’m having chicken breast because I have them in the slow cooker but I’m not sure what I’ll have with them.
