I  love chicken and dumplins. Our daughter does also.
We went to IHOP,  they had rebuilt it and they only had 6 couples in it plus we were all spread apart.
I was wanting pancakes.

Oh my goodness, I love IHOP! During Christmas they have a Grinch breakfast thing for the kids and it’s really cute. I miss going out to places I use to enjoy and IHOP is one of those places. Regardless of what time you go, they’re always packed and there’s always a wait.

Tonight is spaghetti and garlic bread. I threw the remainder of the chicken & dumplings in the freezer. It seems like chicken & dumplings along with vegetable soup always tend to grow when you’re preparing them. If my son doesn’t stop by to grab it, I end up freezing left overs.

Yes, I saw that during Christmas.  It wasn't crowded last night at all and had it been, I wouldn't have stayed. Tonight is chicken tenders and fries.

Well, I’m glad you got to enjoy it!

Tonight is undecided. I had a late lunch and I probably will just snack this evening. I already popped a cookie in my mouth during the KY game but that was the first half. I’m really wishing I had some popcorn or chicken wings. I should’ve planned better I suppose.

Thanks, I made a big pot of chili and we froze what was left over.  Husband said it was the best I had ever made and I think it is because I used tomato sauce instead of tomato juice.

Hmmm....Interesting. I don’t use tomato sauce or tomato juice but I know a lot of people who do. I use canned tomatoes and a little bit of tomato paste. I also don’t use chili beans. I use kidney beans. I wasn’t privileged enough to have a mother that taught me to cook. When I first married I had to learn on my own. Chili was one of those things I just kinda figured out on my own and did my own thing. I turned out to be a decent cook after a lot of trial and error. Honestly, I’m not sure how we survived. LOL

I usually add a can of tomatoes and I like using them in chili. I bet you are a pretty good cook.

We do a quickie lasagna in one. It's sloppy but easy and tastes good.
