I love BBQ but I never fix it. Occasionally, I’ll pick up a sandwich and bring it home but we don’t really have the good BBQ around here. When I was working in Government I had a friend who was from Owensboro. When he would go home for the weekend, he always brought back a tub of the best BBQ for me. Yummy!!
Not sure what I’m having yet tonight. If nothing comes to me, I might have sh...it on a shingle. I have some milk about to expire so I need to try and use it.
You’ll have to post your chicken casserole recipe.
That would be BBQ mutton more than likely. I love mutton and burgoo. Here's the chicken casserole recipe.
3- chicken breaststroke, cooked and cut up
1 can of chicken broth
1 can of cream of celery soup and mushroom soup
1 jar of pimento
1 medium onion, cut up
1 green pepper cut up but can also red or orange.
1-7oz. Box of elbow macaroni- uncooked.
1 package of sharp cheddar cheese
After you have cooked chicken, place all ingredients with the chicken in a greased casserole dish. Cover and refrigerate.
When ready to cook. Preheat oven to 350. Crumble Ritz crackers and pat with butter. Bake for 45 minutes.
You can also add peas or other veggies in this.
