That sounds good, PL. I love grilled cheese with my chili.

I think I’m gonna have a cheeseburger with a big ole slice of tomato and an ear of corn on the cob but I’m just not hungry. 😏 It’s so much easier when you have someone else to cook for.

It was good. I don't know something about September makes me think of chili, cool weather and fall. Hope your burger was good?

It was good but I really wasn’t all that hungry. My corn was good too. Now I need to get in there and finish freezing some corn but I have a serious case of the lazies.

I love chili and enjoy it anytime but I think I tend to start craving it in October and have to fix it on Halloween.

Our next door neighbor always gives us a gallon of chili.  It is amazing.

Chicken Teriyaki in the crock pot. New recipe so we’ll see how it turns out.

Chicken teriyaki didn’t turn out well in the crock pot. Too dry.
Going to a mom and pop diner for take out chicken & noodles.

We ended up having pizza so probably will fix the chicken tomorrow night.

Had a pork shoulder smoked for today and having baked beans, potato salad, rolls and home-made ice cream to end the summer.

Is this an open invitation? What time should I be there? I can bring an appetite. 😜
