I think from what I heard that there was a lawsuit coming down the channels to Chris Tolles. I think Pete has started a great site where we can post about a variety of things.

It had gotten old, stale, and out of control. It was time for it to go.

Personally, I agree with Sundog in that for me, Topix had gotten old and stale. I mean seriously, people can only be called stupid or ugly so many times before it just has no meaning. LOL

However, that having been said, EVERYONE is entitled to their own feelings and opinions regarding Topix or anything else for that matter. Not everyone is going to agree on everything all the time. This is not the "Kumbaya" forum and it's not intended to be.

Obviously Pete doesn't have the same exposure Topix had. He also doesn't have the money or backing Chris Tolles has. I'm thinking he didn't intend to recreate Topix as we knew it. I'm fairly certain he merely intended to create a place where old Topix friends and acquaintances could gather and enjoy the light hearted bantering and camaraderie we once enjoyed in that other place.

Exactly...everyone is entitled to their own opinion. They’re just not entitled to trash others for having a different opinion. If a thread isn’t working out for someone, just move along to another one...or start your own.

I was reading that Topix had lawsuits from Kentucky. Least that's what I gathered from an article.

I like it here. Pete has done well with the new surroundings which has the potential for a good forum.

I guess we will just have to see who disagrees with your personal opinion based on your personal experience.

Just curious why Topxdiva is disagreeing with so many posts when people are just expressing their opinions which are based on their own personal experiences. Are we not entitled to have an opinion based on our personal experiences?

That schtick does come off as very familiar..
