You are right! I made a few friends on topix but this place has less drama.

I don’t care for that much drama either, so perhaps this will be something memorable to everyone.

Sure, it has glitches and such, but it will get better with time.

I also read that the commercials there were high jacked and would redirect you to a fictional site that would load spyware on your computer or smartphone.

Just a sad place to be, I guess.

Topix had great potential...the boy squandered the opportunity. This place...IMO doesn't have that potential...that exposure.

From what I’ve been reading, it does read like it was getting ridiculous.

You would think that they would have the decency to notify the lot, but not all will be so nice.

No doubt that decision was made from the owners.

I think from what I heard that there was a lawsuit coming down the channels to Chris Tolles. I think Pete has started a great site where we can post about a variety of things.

From what I’ve read I fear that Topix was a terrible place with far too much sock puppetry and grey boxes that promoted lots of dishonesty. So maybe it makes for a better place here? Idk.

I really can’t compare without the experience. But I do think that this place has a nice atmosphere, and with good people, comes good friends.
Just my opinion.

There were just people who wanted to create discord and drama over everything. If I said my air conditioning wasn’t working there would be 25 pages of drama over that. If PL said she was going shopping, the trolls would erupt with a drama fest. There was no way to have a decent conversation there....at least not where we were posting.
