My dad died from cancer a year before she disappeared my uncle died the same year same reason and still fresh in my mind when she did that. I thought it was inappropriate to use cancer as a joke by fooling people. I seen the sympathy directed at her and was genuine. I doubt I would talk to her if I ever seen her again..

I understand your point of view, you knew her...
Forgive me, Weepy. I didn't mean to make light of your loss. That wasn't my intention at all.

Ginny lived in a very peculiar, different, world. She would go thru phases where she truly believed people were out to get her for unimaginable reasons. Part of that was brought on or made worse by Badboy making her believe he had hacked her computer and could see everything she did. She was truly delusional. But, she would also switch sometimes in the same day and people she despised became her best friend or confidante. She is a troubled soul.
She was always confused and I'm sure if she saw you post, she believed you were someone other than who you were. She was pitiful and like I said, it sounds like she still is. However, let me be clear, I also fought with Ginny and laughed at her charades. For a long time, I thought it was all an act.
I understand and I just never really thought about why she did what she did. I did see, I think on Twitter or Reddit where she said she was going to sue Tolles. She seemed a little obsessed on that.

I didn't know Artgal but I don't appreciate anyone who uses cancer as a joke. My mom doed of cancer and I have lost 3 uncles to it so I am not a fan of someone who does that just to get a laugh or sympathy.

I think I sort of understand where y'all are coming from and perhaps I just feel differently about it. I think pretty much everyone has been touched by cancer to some extent. I'm not making light of it however, I don't believe ArtGal was either. Like I said before, I think she got caught up in something she couldn't control. When she "died" and left Topix I don't think she ever had any intentions of coming back. What she didn't count on was getting "caught" after she left. However, her real name and address were out there and as Topix goes, someone looked her up and found her alive and well. TaDa all the info got posted and people got mad. Somehow they had forgotten all the love and compassion they had recently felt and believed they had been done wrong. I think that's a shame. You see, I was okay with all those feelings of sadness. I was okay with the tears I had shed. I honestly felt good about myself knowing that I could care to that extent about another person I didn't know and I was willing to talk to the moon on their behalf.

As far as her doing anything specifically to me, I hold her blameless. As far as her making fun of cancer, I didn't see that at all. I think I sort of put it in the same category as a movie where an actor fights the big "C" battle and loses yet at the end of the movie, that actor still walks away. They weren't "making fun of cancer or making light of cancer". They were simply playing a role.

One of the greatest privileges we have in this country is the ability to have a differing opinion. I'm grateful for that. I hope you are too.

You know what? I really liked ArtGal and I did pray for her and cried when I believed she was dying. I went out on my deck and prayed for her at the appointed time looking at the moon like so many others. When it was all said and done, I was still glad I had been able to care and be compassionate in that manner. To this day, I don't feel like ArtGal did anything to me or anyone else. Obviously she had her reason for doing what she did and whatever tat reason was, is okay with me. I think either Bill, IXSatanXI, or Nat, I can't remember which one, told me when it was all said and done, "that was the greatest troll anyone ever pulled on Topix". I have to agree. I hope she's well.
