The Mac Desktops have been having alot of upgrades - like every year to year and a half. I lost track of the latest one. The thing with these mac upgrades, they come out with them so fast, the Adobe programs are not syncrinized with the upgrades, thats why i don't upgrade. Not until I get new programs, and i know the latest upgrades work with the programs.

upgrades used to be a good thing, years back, with many improvements. But now its a pain in the but.

I've never had an Apple computer.  I always game a gaming rig, even though I don't game as much as I used to and apples while nice are not really the best choice for gaming just cause you can get performance for a lot less money.  I think I am going to build my next computer with my son who is interested in doing so from scratch.  My current one is still decent.  I upgraded to a 1080 GTX GPU when they first came out and my CPU is still pretty good.  So I can probably get a few more years out of it.

Good night.  I see I have another 6 AM Skype meeting.  Those totally throw off my whole day.

That's great that your son and you can build your own computer, than you can customize it the way you want. Skype meeting sounds like fun, sleep well. I had a long nap earlier, so I am going to keep working on a project awhile.

I have never built one yet, but I am sure I could do it.  I've only installed ram and installed a new graphics card before.

My youngest son is really handy and good at that stuff and has a real interest in electrical and mechanical work.  He assembled my pressure washer for me (amazon had them I sale a few weeks ago and every man should have a nice pressure washer and a good air compressor amongst other things ... I always had to go with the harbor freight cheap shyte with my ex-wife).  The delivery guy put the box on my front porch on its side and he let me know that all the pump oil had leaked ... sent me a picture of the pump oil I needed to buy at tractor supply.  If I give that kid a job and it's something he's interested in doing, he handles it like a grown man who takes his job seriously.  If he doesn't like what he's doing, it can be like pulling teeth to get him to do it sometimes, but he's getting better at that too.

My other son not so much.  They all have strengths and weaknesses ... I am frequently on his case to use his brain and common sense.  He's very book smart and does great at school, but thinking on his feet and problem solving aren't his strengths.

That pressure washer is awesome ... 3300 PSI, runs on gas, and has an electric start with a key ... 50 foot hose.  My son pressure washed my whole front sidewalk with it already and I am gonna do my back deck here soon.

It even has a built in battery tender.  You just plug it into an extension cord and it charges the battery.  That thing will last a lifetime.
