Why is it when people get married, they promise to love each other forever and then they end up in a bitter divorce battle within a few years hating each other.

What kind of love is that?

I've never had to experience such Prince, and I'm thankful for that.
My true love in life ended in a tragic car accident.
We were both very young when we met.
I was with him for 13 years..

We had just recently separated prior to this happening because I felt the need to grow, but both he and his wife remained very good friends to the end of his death and visited my family home frequently.
My father taught him his trade - An electrician.
He was killed in a freak accident on the highway, while on route to visit his wife in the Hospital.
I often see her in Emerg. - she never got over it, and took to drugs as a result of it..

I remain good friends with his latest wife to this day, and we continue to reminisce about those cherished times together.
This has somewhat brought us both peace and comfort in the process of losing him at the age of 43.

So no, our love never ended in hatred for any parties involved.
It continues on until this very day..

I recall of you speaking of your Mom, and I'm sorry you lost her.
But, you will prevail from the things she taught you - as that is what she would want the most for you and that is what she gave - Strength and Perseverance that will live on in you.
You've shown that in your posts here in helping others.

You are a shining star to all with your words of continued inspiration - remember that as her continued legacy -
And, you will always shine on for her as a result of that gift..

Death and the loss of a loved one is never an easy road for anyone, especially while alone..

I lost my Mom when my daughter was only two.
It still hurts my heart that my grandchildren will never know her, except through the treasured photographs remaining.
However, it's not the same experience and never will be - no matter how hard I try.
But, all one can every really do in life is our best to try and recapture those memories of long ago to keep it alive for our future generations through pictures.
That is why I've started albums for each grandchild.

Always a pleasure to read you Mr. Cowface along our travels of life.
I saw that your daughter recently registered here.
That makes me "CowFace" Happy..

I hear ya with the grandchildren. Yes, my daughter has recently registered here... but as of yet she has been too busy with work and 5 kids to post any here yet. Not sure how she will be able to participate. I invited her here to share with us and be able to read my life stories cause my kids have never heard them before and I am not telling them again. I was thrilled she registered to read... she is here as Lilcowface.

Interesting toys. It makes me wonder what other toys are in your shop and what you make with them. That red belt looked just a tad loose. LOL
