One of mine is spending time climbing the hills of Kentucky, we spent many hours
in them.

What area of Kentucky roughly?  I visited Mammoth Cave with my family a few years and had a great time.

I'm in Eastern Kentucky near Pikeville.

We've all got a ton of them.  I'm growing nostalgic as I age.  LOL

I was raised on a farm and thought they'd work me to death, now I'd love to go back.

Chanta, isn't there a town in Minnesota that gets infested with Mayflies every year?  I saw it on TV once.

I'm not sure what city that would be but I did see them once when we headed 45 min south to a casino. They were layered on the windshield of every car and they were sweeping them off the parking lot!

We picked a real cold day, I hated scraping the hog but the fresh meat was delishious!
The cracklin's were good and the ham.

Scraping was always my job too.  We'd always have a big chitlin supper as well.
