The religions we normally subscribe to in today's society are no more plausible than Ancient Roman or Norse mythology...and we are pretty confident that that is 100% rubbish except that perhaps they are fables that are possessed of a moral lesson.
All religions are man made and their gods as the same as spoiled rotten children.
And this includes the clergy that control it.

And every person has one. And you know that
I only see our universe as a creator, but one without a conscious mind.

That is your religion. It could in fact be the one true one too............. but so could mine be as well. I see a creator much greater than our mere universe.
Can you provide proof beyond a shadow of doubt that we live within a conscious universe?

I dare ya! I double dog dare ya! 🤣

(That is your religion.) It could in fact be the one true one too............. but so could mine be as well. I see a creator much greater than our mere universe.

It is strictly an observation and based on facts that have nothing to do with any and all religious beliefs, whatsoever.

I do appreciate your kindness on this, but I’m just letting you know for the record that I do not worship this universe, but I am in recognition of our universe.

This says that I am a part of a universe that has made us and without any worship of it. Our universe has no understanding of we and has no problem with whatever happens to us. We are just at the threshold: a beginning to understand what it is that has made us.
And basing this on mere intuition, anyone’s opinions on their respective religious beliefs, or speculations, conjectures; is nullified; and of no consequence. You need facts to determine what is truth and there is always verifiable truth to be had.

But in a way, in a very small way, you could say that I hold deep feelings for this universe that I am but a small and insignificant part of.
But this is not a religious belief when it’s just a personal feeling.

Thank you for you time.

Exactly in point.
If its worth arguing over or debating, it is in your thoughts... That only is the difference

I'm not a 'religious' person. So maybe someone who is can clarify. But my understanding is that the story (unverifiable) is that Mary remained a 'virgin' but was impregnated by an angel and subsequently gave birth to Jesus who was the son of God.  Jesus abandoned his career as a carpenter to become a rabbi but ran afoul of the law. He was tried and convicted by way of Roman jurisprudence, which was very sophisticated and well organized and he was lawfully executed. He was a convicted capital criminal in other words.  Then he rose from the dead and vanished into heaven where he remains.  I was taught that Jesus died for my sins, even though I was born in Detroit like 2000 years after he was supposedly executed in Israel. And really, although I have been a big time sinner throughout most of my life, most of my sins were centered around getting drunk, getting laid and getting ahead; none of which rise to the level of anyone dying for.  Furthermore, despite that there is no actual proof that any of this is true, we are supposed to accept it as being true without question or we will burn in hell for all eternity.
To show your devotion to this convict, it is customary to where a necklace with a tiny statuette charm of him crucified in the manner of Ancient Rome.

This elaborate tale is being presented to us by a bunch of unmarried old men that have sworn off sex (with women), wear giant conical hats and pointy shoes, fondle altar boys and they claim to be "infallible".

Does anyone really expect me to go along with all that? Really?
Nope sure don't, you believe what you want... That is a belief... Now if you think you are here by some magical chance, you should thank your lucky stars...

Ok. Why don't you explain it to me and cite verifiable sources.
Thats weak, even so, your cites and mine are different... Mine just has more beauty to it... I can look at the sky alone ,  the waters that quench my thirst, the love and good in people... There are only two types of energy Faith.

Positive energy and Negative energy, good and evil...

Would it be too much to prove your story? After all, the onus is on you. I don't have any story. I'm questioning the veracity of yours. Take your time. We apparently have eternity.
All this proof stuff... If I was God i wouldn't want you seeing me either... God stands outside of time, not in the material flesh...

So, in other words, there is no proof.

That doesn't prove 'God' exists or that there even was a Jesus. That only proves that the sky and water exist and that some people are good some of the time... in the same way a mother wolf takes care of her pups or the way a dog protects its owner even at its own peril.
Did they mention Jesus? Apparently Jesus exist in your mind....

Agreed. All people have good and bad within, and there is no proof beyond a reasonable doubt that any gods exist.

I have no religion and you have proved nothing except that you cannot prove your unhinged delusional beliefs. The End. Now go back to your ****. You're boring me.
That wasn’t very nice. I’m not one who will be bashing you when I only seek understanding and positronium thinks in the same way.

And sometimes he likes to troll, but he’s not as bad as some were on the old Topix.

If that's what your beliefs are, then that is your "only one true religion".

Game set match.......
No, there is a distinction and difference between belief in anything and the facts that determine its existence.

I have very little patience for trolls. It's tedious and juvenile.
Agreed. I can fully understand how you feel cause the elder Topix had plenty of trolls who just wanted to yank chains when they should’ve been banned altogether.

Then I suppose that I can say with confidence that my religion is the one true religion. And if you don't know what that religion actually is you can't prove it isn't the one true religion because at this point you haven't any facts in regards to it......So I stand on grounds that are just as solid as yours. ;D
Uh, yes, I can prove a negative just by never witnessing your firm.
Disproved ! 🤣

People make up stories all the time, so sorry that I bursted your bubble. ;D

Not a story but a religion that is uniquely mine and mine only with no followers and no financing ....My religion is the only true religion and you still can't prove otherwise. ....No matter whether you have an answer for everything or not......
Onus is on the believer. As you did create your religious beliefs that you now say I can’t disprove your, negative?

If you cannot show on ounce of evidence, from a story you’ve absolutely made up, then you’ve just proven my point and are being willfully ignorant of the fact that you just proved your god is nonexistent.
Thank you 🙏🤣

I have no need to show any evidence whatsoever. Believe what you want to believe, but whatever you believe, that is your religion.
As far as I am concerned, religion is just a set of beliefs and everyone has their own set of them.
Mine is the true one and you can accept it or reject it,,,,, Makes no difference to me.
Tell me, are facts a religious choice?
