All the high octane pot being produced today are hybrids of 3 basic strains, Sativa, Indica and Ruderalis, the third one almost became extinct in the 1970s til a seed merchant from Holland risked his life meeting with Afghanistan Rebels to purchase some very rare seeds and revived the strain, Ruderalis is a low yielding scrubby plant with a very high THC content and was found mostly in what was then the USSR but has since become popular with growers worldwide to diversify the Gene pool of modern day marijuana.
