He also called "God Only Knows" one of the most beautiful songs ever written and expressed that it directly inspired The Beatles' Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band.
I have to disagree with Paul McCartney about 'Pet Sounds'. I find it is highly overrated.
